Sourcing & promotion of family friendly events on our widely shared calendar

Cam Fam Events has helped hundreds of parents in Cambridge (and surrounds) to find local, low/no-cost family events, to keep children's growing minds engaged with fun and educational activities. 

We now have a collaboration with Cambridgeshire Council that aims to promote sustainability and diversity themes, as well as underrepresented SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) events. This task entails finding such events and adding them to a shared Google calendar, promoting them on social media, on our website and newsletter. We wish for the calendar itself to be better known around Cambridge, a task requiring wider digital marketing and leafleting.

Our volunteer-base is small, and we now strive to change that! 

We'd like an enthusiastic volunteer to join our charitable association, for as long as they wish to continue helping. You don't need to be a parent (although it may make these tasks more interesting to you). If you're a family events organiser you'd also be very welcome to add your own events.

The tasks / skillets needed to achieve the above are diverse, and include (but are not limited to) engineering LLM prompts, database management, website design, digital marketing, liaising with industrial / academic partners, grant writing, and more!
