Join us at Mill Road Winter Fair and help support ACT at one of Cambridge’s biggest festive events!

Join us for a fantastic day at Mill Road Winter Fair and help support Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) at one of Cambridge’s most loved community events.

We’ll have an ACT stand at the fair, where we’ll be talking to visitors about our charity, our campaigns and the work we support across Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals.

As a volunteer, you could be helping us to:

  • Chat to visitors and tell them about ACT
  • Promote our latest campaigns and the work of the charity
  • Accept donations from members of the public
  • Sell Christmas cards and other charity items
  • Help with fun activities for members of the public to enjoy at our stand
  • Create a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere

We have two main volunteering shifts available:

  • 9:00am–1:00pm
  • 1:00pm–5:00pm

There is also some flexibility around these times, so please still get in touch if you would like to help but cannot manage a full shift.

You don’t need any previous volunteering experience. We’re simply looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who would enjoy getting involved, meeting members of the local community and helping us raise awareness and funds for the charity.

Our team will be there to support you throughout your time with us, helping you feel comfortable and confident in your role so that you can get the best possible experience from volunteering at the event.

Mill Road Winter Fair is one of the biggest events in the local calendar and always has a fantastic atmosphere. We’d love you to join us, be part of the festivities and help make the day a success for ACT.

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, register your interest and we’ll be in touch with further details.
