Logging volunteer hours

Logging hours is a great way volunteers and your organisation can keep track of volunteering progress, and it’s easy to do!

This guide shows volunteers how to do this (In four easy steps)

Step 1: Log into your Volunteer Cambs! Account. Once there, head to the top right of the screen, click on your username and select View Profile.

Step 2: Once there, scroll down a little and you will see a + sign which says Add Activity. Let’s click on it!

Step 3: A new window will pop up, and you will be given the opportunity to add your activity.  To find your role, it is much easier to fill in the ‘community organisation’ part first, so go ahead and find your organisation, and once filled in, you can return to the activity section above. Begin typing in your role and it will magically find it for you.

Step 4: Once you have added the where and what, carry on down the screen and give a brief overview of what you did that day. As you can’t include half-hour shifts, we recommend that you round it up to the nearest hour.

Save your entry and that’s it! You have now logged your hours and will be able to see the impact that you are having.
